Now follow all steps:

Take measurements: Measure the baby’s chest, waist, and length from shoulder to where you want the dress to end. This will assist you in figuring out how big the dress is.

Cut the fabric: Using the measurements and your chosen pattern cut the fabric pieces accordingly and also leave some extra fabric for seam allowance.
